Educational equity in times of AI & Co.

What role can and should algorithms play in future school education? Will AI & Co. make schools fairer because they allow learning to be radically individualized? Or will they lead to new inequalities? In the project "Algorithmic Sorting in Education" we pursue these questions and examine how the role of algorithms is perceived and designed by teachers and developers - and what consequences this has for questions of educational equity in the age of digital transformation.
